ITC Service Group (“ITC”), is seeking an experienced Tower Foreman in West Caldwell NJ.  The Tower Foreman will organize and direct the project site work at ITC and will be responsible for following policies and procedures relating to the project site work. The ideal candidate will supervise, train, motivate and discipline the apprentices and tower hands. You will also need to guarantee good company relations with our customers. You will report directly to project manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Successfully accomplish all antenna and line technician goals
• Perform sweep testing, PIM testing, fiber optic testing, and laptop down tilt procedures
• Read blueprints and layout jobs
• Read a compass and figure azimuths
• Work in direct exposure to sun and heat
• Work weekends, nights and in extreme weather conditions if necessary
• Must be able to work long hours in outdoor environment
• Work well with others on team
• Ability to stoop, stand, sit, climb, handle items with hands and fingers, see clearly 20ft or more, talk and hear clearly
• Must be able to travel for up to several weeks when needed

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

All candidates are subject to a mandatory pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical exam, and must possess and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Required Experience

• Four years of experience in wireless industry
• Basic carpentry, masonry and roofing skills
• Mechanical and technical abilities relating to the installation of cellular sites
• Mathematical abilities at the level required to perform the technical functions are essential to this position
• Competent to operate a man lift
• Cathead experience
• Ability to set RETS (Remote Electric Tilt)
• Ability to prepare closeout documents in Microsoft Excel and Sweepmaster
• Ability to prepare closeout photos
• Ability to use Antenna Alignment Tool

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Small Cell installs
• DAS experience

Education and/or Certifications

• High School Graduate
• First Aid Training/CPR
• Anritsu sweep testing
• Tower climbing & tower safety
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Fiber- optic certification
• PIM certification (Passive Intermodulation)
• RF Safety and Awareness
• Comtrain Certs
• Various connector training courses
• Good physical condition is required
