Telecommunications Construction Project Coordinator

ITC Service Group (“ITC”), is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator in Santa Clara, CA.  The Project Coordinator will coordinate construction (field) efforts with the Construction Supervisor for project completion by predetermined deadlines, including site access scheduling and be responsible for ensuring that all operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications, per project schedule. The ideal candidate will be motivated and hard-working with superior customer/client servicing skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Requisition materials needed for the construction operations of multiple projects
  • Act to resolve complaints with property owners in areas where company personnel is working (in the field)
  • Complete and maintain accurate 'As Built Maps' for areas built to submit to Supervisor
  • Perform site (Project) visits to gather information on project/work status, material use/ordering, and progress of the project
  • Work closely with the Construction Supervisor, Field Supervisors, and crews to ensure the timely completion of projects, on a budget

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

All candidates are subject to a mandatory pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical exam, and must possess and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Required Experience

  • Proficient working with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience working with digital calendars
  • Must have strong presentation and communication skills
  • Can work in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions
  • Flexible to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary
  • Must be willing to work overtime and some weekends as needed
  • Able to perform the physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift
  • This position will be split as far as office work and work done in the field, individuals will drive a company vehicle in the field

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with AutoCAD is highly desired
  • Construction (field) experience, specifically with underground or aerial work (electrical/telecom)
