ITC Service Group (“ITC”), is seeking an entry - mid-level CDL Driver/Laborer in Snohomish, WA. The CDL Driver/Laborer will be responsible for driving (operating, maneuvering, navigating) commercial vehicles for the purpose of transporting and distributing CATV material and equipment related to telecommunication operations.  CDL drivers will be expected to assist as laborers in the field with any construction projects as needed. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Assist in the loading/unloading of equipment and supplies needed for daily work assignments, setting-up of worksite traffic and safety controls and properly securing work area.
  • Hand dig with shovels, picks, digging bars to expose located utilities, access u/g vaults and pedestals, and complete trenches.
  • Operate jackhammers, air knives, pneumatic boring equipment (compressors & missiles) and powered augers.
  • Place conduit and/or cables in trenches, splice conduit sections (install couplers) as directed, place anchors, pedestals, vaults, etc. to complete construction tasks.
  • Fully restore worksite at completion of daily work, refill trenches and holes, tamp soil, replant any plants or shrubs that were disturbed during our construction, place temporary asphalt on streets where excavations have been performed.
  • When required and if appropriately licensed and authorized, drive or operate construction equipment used on the jobsite to complete daily work assignments
  • Clean and maintain all company vehicles and equipment assigned for use.
  • Able to perform physical tasks for the entire assigned work shift

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

All candidates are subject to a mandatory pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical exam, and must possess and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Required Experience

  • Experience driving Dump truck while pulling equipment or reels.
  • Able to perform the physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift.
  • Willing to work overtime and some weekends as needed
  • Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions
  • Flexible to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary

Education and/or Certifications

  • Class A CDL license

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing ­ 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Walking ­ 4 to 6 hours daily
  • Climbing ­ 0 to 2 hours daily
  • Bending/Twisting ­ 0 to 2 hours daily
  • Repetitive Motion(grasping, manipulation) ­ 0 to 2 hours daily
